Dennis Jacobs is a freelance illustrator based in Madison Heights, Michigan. He finds inspiration in exploring the woods, used bookstores, and vintage photos. Pulling from these elements, he strives to create work that instills a sense of anemoia in the viewer. He began his illustration career creating concert posters for local bands. More recently, he has focused has been on creating screen printed editions for galleries throughout the country.
Together with his wife, Christina, he owns Arsenal Handicraft, an illustration/screen printing studio that produces art prints, posters, enamel pins, patches, and greeting cards.
Dennis’ clients include Adidas, Penguin Books, the City of St. Louis, Focus Features, AMC, Standup Records, Bottleneck Gallery, Sally Centigrade Gallery, Artcrank, Gallery 1988, Monty Python, the MOPOP Music Festival, Ray LaMontagne, Nada Surf, and Ra Ra Riot.
His work has been published in Driftless and Uppercase Magazines.
